LBQ’s BBQ, LLC is a family‑owned business proudly operated by Lamar and Staci Barnes. The company is built on a fiery passion that began when Pit Master Lamar Barnes was just a kid. No matter how far from home he traveled, he could always taste the memory of his father’s BBQ ribs sizzling on the grill.

Thirty years later, Lamar’s father asked if he’d be interested in investing in a barbecue truck in the San Francisco Bay Area. At the time, Lamar was fully committed to his real estate career and declined. Just a year later, Lamar’s father passed away from a stroke at only 56 years old—an unimaginable loss of his best friend and mentor.

Soon after, the real estate market took a downturn, and Lamar found himself working alongside his cousin at Fat Daddy’s BBQ. Two years later, Lamar and Staci made the decision to launch LBQ’s BBQ as a legacy business honoring Lamar’s father.

Today, Lamar and Staci pour their heart and soul into every plate they serve. They are deeply passionate about their craft and strive to leave every customer satisfied—with great food and a smile.
